Brasher Women’s Supalite Active GTX walking boots Reviewed

Described by other test walkers as akin to wearing a pair of trainers, the Brasher Women’s Supalite Active GTX walking boots live up to this testament. They feel lightweight and immediately comfortable. More robust looking than the recently tested Salomon women's Ultra GTX walking boots, they still feel great to wear.  As you would expect from leading brand Brasher, the boots offer a host of features such as an upper made from lightweight, breathable and abrasion-resistant materials, a Supalite sole unit with shock absorbing EVA midsole, Ortholite dual density footbed and GORE-TEX lining.

Brasher Women’s  Supalite Active GTX walking boots on test

I walked trails and lower-level hill routes in these boots and felt confident in the Brasher boot. I have a very narrow foot and so there was a bit of extra front foot space but if you have an ordinary width foot these will fit like a glove. It's great to find the attention to detail in the women-fit boot, with a design to suit our generally narrower foot and more lightweight physique.

The boots require little in the way of wearing in – I pottered about the shops and my local dog walk routes to bed them in – so that on longer, rough terrain walks I didn't suffer with rubs or blisters.
