KEEN Hightrail Town-to-Trail Hiking Collection Expands

Building on the popularity of its Hightrail fast & light hiking range which debuted this spring, for AW25 KEEN introduce an insulated model for men and women, winter ready for adventure in even the most extreme conditions.

An all-in-one athletic hiker balancing speed, stability, and style, the Hightrail is made for any season and any trail – whether off grid or along city streets. Offering faster, lighter, more flexible hiking performance with the modern, transitional styling progressive adventurers are looking for, the new Hightrail Polar insulated boot takes that town-to-trail versatility into the colder months of the year.

KEEN Hightrail expands

Carrying over in a mid (£135) or low (£125) WP edition for the winter season, key features of the Hightrail collection include:

  • Ethically sourced leather: Leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group for their environmental and social practices.​
  • Breathable waterproofing: A DRY waterproof breathable membrane lets vapor out without letting water in.
  • Sporty feel: Performance-driven cushioning with a high-rebound foam midsole.​
  • Reinforced lacing: Redesigned webbing ghillie creates a secure fit with less risk of tearing.
  • Stable traction: All-terrain rubber with KEEN.TERRAIN SHIELD that wraps up around the midsole for protection and lateral stability.​​
  • Contoured fit: Follows the contours of the foot for a more secure fit. Foot feels comfortably snug.
  • Pesticide-free odor control: Eco Anti-Odor fights foot funk with natural probiotics that are safe for human health and the environment.

The Hightrail Mid Polar (£160) also features a KEEN.FREEZE outsole for superior traction in cold conditions, designed with a specific rubber compound designed to  stay flexible in low temperatures for better traction in ice or snow. 200g of KEEN.WARM insulation made from recycled P.E.T. plastic keeps feet warm in temperatures as low as  -25ºF, all whilst maintaining the out of the box comfort and performance of the original. The addition of the Hightrail Polar insulated boot gives those in colder climates an all-around option to support their active lifestyle through fall and winter.
