What I like about Essential Lady Split shorts

I wasn’t at all sure about these shorts when I took them out of the packaging and held them up. They looked square and frumpy. But once on, they look really great. The loose-fit offer a flattering look, even when you have a sticky-out bum and old-lady wobbly thigh tops. In fact, the shorts do a great job of covering that area that most women dislike yet still look fit-for-purpose.

The inner pants that are attached to the shorts offer great support. I found the shorts extremely comfortable to run in. In fact they felt almost not there, which is excellent when you’re trying to focus on the running.

The wide waistband is really comfortable. I also like the attention to details with reflective features. They are airy and quick drying, even when it's very hot and sweaty.

£34.99 is a bit pricey for a pair of shorts but I know that Gore kit lasts a very long time so I would be happy to pay this.

What I’m not so keen on:

There is nothing to criticise. I’m not sure about all the waffle about ambient temperatures and microfibers but the shorts do a great job of keeping me smiling while running.
